Stone Pickaxe used for mining basic Stone-type blocks faster than a wooden one can. it is also requirement to mine Iron Ore.

2 Sticks +  3 CobbleStones => 1 Stone Pickaxe

It has durability of 132 uses, like all Stone tools. and has a damage of 1.5 hearts of damage although it will uses 2 durability points for improper use. so it does not make a good weapon for damaging mobs.
