A Wooden Shovel is one of the 5 shovels in minecraft. like the other wooden tools, it only have durability of 60 uses. it digs up material at moderate rate. it is cheap to craft and can be reliable for mining many blocks that can also be harvested by hand, including Dirt,Clay,Sand,Grass, and Gravel.

2 Sticks + 1 Wooden plank => 1 Wooden Shovel

3 Wooden Planks + 1 Wooden Shovel = > 1 Oak Boat

Wooden Shovels can be used as a Paddles in boats.
Wooden Shovels also  are the only tool used in another item's crafting recipe, you can craft a boats by using Wooden Shovels
